Welcome to our club website. We’re a friendly group of model railway enthusiasts who meet every fortnight to share ideas, compare layouts, and enjoy the hobby together.

Join Christchurch & Kinson Model Railway Club.
The Christchurch & Kinson Model Railway Group is a friendly community of model railway enthusiasts based in Bournemouth, Dorset. We bring together modellers of all ages and experience levels who enjoy building layouts, running trains, sharing techniques, and exploring the wider world of railway modelling.
Our members meet every fortnight for relaxed, informal sessions where we discuss projects, exchange ideas, and offer help and advice. Whether you’re interested in OO gauge, N gauge, scenic modelling, digital control, or simply learning the basics, you’ll find a supportive group and plenty of inspiration.
As well as our regular club meetings, we organise the annual Model Railway Exhibition in Southbourne — continuing the long‑established tradition previously run by Christchurch MRC. Our exhibition showcases layouts, traders, demonstrations, and family‑friendly activities, helping to promote the hobby across Christchurch, Bournemouth, and the wider Dorset area.
